Job Opportunity: Radio Communications Systems Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Data Link Systems team as a Radio Communications Systems Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge Radio Frequency (RF) based missile communication systems and contribute to the development of our next-generation communication systems.

About the Role

As a Radio Communications Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing RF communication systems for our missiles. You will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to ensure the performance and reliability of our systems. Your tasks will include:

  • Requirements engineering
  • System design
  • Performance modelling
  • Product testing
  • Researching novel techniques for next-generation communication systems
  • Electronic warfare
  • Missile survivability through stealth and electromagnetic modelling
  • DSP, waveform design & message protocol using the OSI model
  • Software defined radio
What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in RF technologies and would like to build their RF system knowledge with our Data Link Systems team. You should have a STEM degree and be able to apply your university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies. We offer a 10-week summer placement starting June 2025, flexible working, and a collaborative work environment.
