We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client in this exciting time of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that offers the highest level of customer service and has grown organically over the last couple of years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the month end closure and associated reconciliations across all the ledgers. They will also manage and process all sales ledger processes, including improving current management of large transactional customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the month end closure and associated reconciliations across all the ledgers.
  • Manage and process all sales ledger processes, including improving current management of large transactional customers.
  • Management of the credit control processes, setting up new customers, liaising with the sales team and monitoring all credit limits and payments.
  • Manage and process all purchase ledger transactions, including raising payments, supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Management of the cash book, including the posting of all non-sterling receipts, payments completion of daily bank reconciliation.
  • Work closely with wider business to report expenditure on company credit cards and expenses.
  • Strong experience of month end reporting around the nominal and being able to improve the current transactional process.
