Job Title: General Manager

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Working Environment:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Lexington Catering. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing teams on site, recruiting, inducting, training, and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivating and Managing a Team: Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve exceptional results and deliver a high-quality service.
  • Controlling and Managing a Budget: Manage a budget to create a platform for financial growth and ensure the effective use of resources.
  • Accountable for Team Communications: Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence and innovative menu planning.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday plus overtime

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience of successfully managing a team and a genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • Team Player: A strong team player, highly confident, and positive with a self-motivated and innovative approach.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience within management, contract catering desirable.
