Teaching Assistant Position Available

A Primary school in West Leeds is seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the staff, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education to Key Stage 2 pupils.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons, including identifying resources needed to support teaching outcomes.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils, monitoring their progress and developing strategies to improve achievement.
  • Lead small groups in guided learning activities to enhance pupil engagement and progress.
  • Support pupils in developing their independence and confidence, both within and outside the classroom.
  • Prepare pupils for secondary school entry, ensuring a smooth transition.

Salary Details

The salary for this role is expected to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
