Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Ward team. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and contributing to the development of our ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery and treatment.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, ensuring excellent patient care and a positive working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
  • Contribute to the development of our ward, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Person Specification
  • 2 years post-registration experience in orthopaedic nursing.
  • Experience of leading a team and managing staff.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of orthopaedic care.
  • Professional commitment and self-awareness.
  • Motivate self and others.
