Orthopaedic Senior Staff Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in the Orthopaedic department at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic and spinal procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure high standards of patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years post-registration experience in orthopaedic nursing.
  • Experience of leading and managing a team of nursing staff.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of orthopaedic and spinal care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
