We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hire Controller / Service Coordinator / Rental Support Engineer to join our team at Verto People in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will provide logistical support and organization of day-to-day operations within the rental department, ensuring the smooth collection and rental of pump equipment, services, and related products.

The ideal candidate will have administrative, logistical, and support experience within an engineering industry, with excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide logistical support and organization of day-to-day operations within the rental department.
  2. Organize transport and transport records to ensure the smooth collection and rental of pump equipment, services, and related products.
  3. Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure smooth running of branch rental operations.
  4. Be in daily contact with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a hire controller, rental controller, rental coordinator, equipment controller, service coordinator, hire coordinator, technical support engineer, logistics planner, transport controller, service planner, rental planner, and or similar administrative support role.
  2. Administrative, logistical, and support experience ideally within an engineering industry.
  3. Good planning and organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various engineering departments.
  4. Technical knowledge of pumps, pump systems, or related mechanical engineering rental equipment is highly advantageous.
  5. Strong level of IT competency including work booking systems, Excel spreadsheets, and more.
  6. Must be commutable to the office in Nottingham.
