We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Grafton Recruitment. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering an operationally focused HR service, providing expert advice and support while managing employee relations cases.
Main Responsibilities:- Employee Relations: Ensure timely, fair, and consistent handling of HR matters in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Facilitate managers in addressing Employee Relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management, and capability investigations/hearings.
- Develop and maintain robust casework recording and reporting systems linked to our HR system.
- Minimize the risk of Employment Tribunals through effective case management.
- Set direction, establish performance measures, and monitor service quality from indemnity insurers.
- Coach and mentor managers to enhance their people management skills.
- Lead on TUPE processes, consultations, and Employment Tribunal cases.
- Act as Deputy in the absence of the Head of HR when HR advice is required.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to hit the ground running and want to get stuck in. This role has the possibility to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.
