We are seeking a skilled Recovery Housing Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Futures. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in our Aberdeen Recovery Housing Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety and security within designated housing managed projects
  • Provide community-based services to support individuals in securing and maintaining appropriate housing for their recovery journey

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of facilitating or co-facilitating group programs
  • Experience of delivering one-to-one support
  • Understanding of complex issues presented by individuals experiencing homelessness, housing support needs, or drug and alcohol recovery
  • Experience of working with individuals in the substance use sector or related field
  • Ability to be innovative and flexible in meeting the needs of the service
  • Capacity to work effectively with multi-agencies while maintaining the excellent reputation of the service
  • Knowledge of adult and child protection, essential for working with vulnerable individuals in a community setting
