Job Title: Recovery Nurse - Theatre Team

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Nurse to join our Theatre team in a leading private hospital in the UK. As a Recovery Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth recovery of patients after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality post-operative care to patients, monitoring their recovery and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre team to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Make informed decisions with autonomy and support, prioritizing patient care and safety.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive recovery experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration and evidence of relevant clinical professional development.
  • 12 months experience in a theatre setting, with a strong understanding of post-operative care and recovery principles.
  • Awareness of the NMC Code of Accountability and relevant clinical professional development.
