Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Executive Integrity. As a Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and post sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Review payment lists and approve bank payments to ensure effective cash flow management.
- Conduct weekly cash flow forecasts, monitoring working capital, and reporting to corporate headquarters.
- Lead project profitability analysis and gross margin justification.
- Manage and analyze overhead against the budget to drive improved financial performance.
- Review open purchase orders, supplier statements, expenses, and credit card postings to ensure strong financial controls.
- Post payroll and labor timesheet allocations to projects and prepare reconciliations for accruals and prepayments.
- Oversee Work in Progress (WIP) entries and ensure revenue recognized aligns with project completion stages.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to review WIP balances and ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile balance sheets, fixed assets, and inter-company accounts to ensure financial transparency.
- Support the timely submission of management accounts, budget preparations, and VAT returns.
- Lead audit preparations and work closely with auditors to address queries.
Requirements:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar finance management role.
- Technically strong with detailed knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.
- Commercially astute with the ability to influence financial decisions within the business.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in financial systems with a focus on driving automation and process improvement.
- Experience in implementing, monitoring, and improving financial controls.
