About the Job:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all high-speed production & packaging machinery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery
  • Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving, and repairs on production equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may affect production output
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and productivity

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 electrical engineering or maintenance minimum
  • Ideally HNC / HND qualified
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and control systems, HMIs
