About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly and award-winning team as a Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and ensuring the continuity of services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
  • Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within your role.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
