Strategic Business Development Manager

As a Strategic Business Development Manager at Mattel, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Strategy & VP Regional Lead in driving business growth and development. Your responsibilities will include contributing to, coordinating, and following up on strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the PEM Leadership Team to support Market-wide projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain presentations, strategic documents, and workshop materials, as well as follow up on meeting actions and decisions.
- Prepare analysis, consolidate executive summaries, and craft executive briefing documents to inform business decisions.
- Proactively manage milestones, deliverables, actions, minutes, and next steps to ensure timely completion and effective communication.
- Support the VP Regional Lead in day-to-day business needs from a strategic perspective, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
- Manage presentation materials for business plans, quarterly market reviews, functional EMEA reviews, off-sites, and Company Updates, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Prepare and manage agendas for team meetings and offsites, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Closely liaise with the PEM Leadership Team, direct reports, and project leads to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' work experience in a Commercial, Business Analysis, Consulting, or Business Strategy/Insights role is highly preferred.
- BA/BSc Degree (or equivalent) in Business Studies or a related subject.
- Ability to demonstrate the capability to take projects, information, and goals and help work to create a strategic plan and deliver insights and action plans.
