This is a fantastic new opportunity for a highly skilled Sous Chef to work closely with an award-winning Executive Chef in a renowned 100 cover fine dining restaurant.

As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, helping to ensure the exceptional standards and reputation of the restaurant.

You will work with the best quality seasonal ingredients to create modern British cuisine, collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus and culinary concepts.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the planning and preparation of menus
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food production
  • Lead a team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional results
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new culinary concepts and menus
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of modern British cuisine and seasonal ingredients
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs
