This role requires strategic insight, deep technical knowledge of Workday modules, and strong stakeholder management skills to deliver robust, scalable solutions that align with the firm's evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Consultation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and consultations with stakeholders to gather diverse viewpoints and requirements specific to Workday modules.

  • Documentation and Process Mapping: Produce and maintain detailed requirements documentation and end-to-end process flows for Workday-related processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Technical & Business Translation: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding, particularly for complex Workday configurations and integrations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Workday and other external vendors and internal stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and driving project success.
  • Solution Recommendation & Business Case Support: Guide sponsors and stakeholders in selecting optimal Workday solutions, including building business cases for executive approval.
  • Implementation and QA Oversight: Support the implementation of chosen Workday solutions, ensuring they meet documented requirements and align with the firm's operational goals.
  • Product Road-mapping & Continuous Improvement: Develop post-implementation roadmaps to drive continuous improvements, upgrades, and further development of Workday capabilities.
  • Collaboration with PMO: Work closely with PMO project managers, ensuring alignment on project goals and accountability for knowledge transfer and skills development.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Workday Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a significant focus on Workday-related projects covering modules like HCM, Financial Management, Payroll, and Talent.
  • Full Project Lifecycle Experience: Proven experience managing IT projects through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on requirements gathering, testing, training, implementation, and post-implementation review.
  • Data Analysis and Mapping: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and map complex data flows, specifically within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools, including Microsoft Project and Visio.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional Communication and Facilitation Skills: Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and facilitate discussions across cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Proven experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and vendors.
  • Strategic and Detail-Oriented: A strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Documentation Proficiency: Strong ability to generate comprehensive and precise project documentation, requirements, and business cases.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrates a flexible approach, comfortable working outside regular hours to meet project deadlines as necessary.
  • Certifications: Business Analysis certification (such as BCS or IIBA) preferred; familiarity with Workday certification or training is an asset.

Education:

  • Degree-level education in a related field (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Data Science) or equivalent professional experience.
