The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Management Officer to join our Hardware Asset Management Team (HAM) in the Digital Customer Services directorate at the Parliamentary Digital Service.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and reliable management of Parliament's IT hardware assets, providing critical information to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

The Hardware Asset Management Team operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in asset management, organizational skills, and customer service to contribute to the success of our complex and customer-centric team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective hardware asset management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address hardware asset management gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on hardware asset inventory, allocation, and utilization to support business decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Provisioning Team to ensure seamless procurement and distribution of hardware assets.
About the Team

The Hardware Asset Management Team is part of the Provisioning Team in the Parliamentary Digital Service, responsible for the procurement and distribution of hardware and software to Members, their staff, and Administration Staff across both Houses of Parliament.
