About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kent County Councils Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Childrens Service as a Childrens Home Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Ofsted regulation and be able to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional care.

As a Childrens Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to provide high-quality care to UAS children. You will work closely with our team of managers and workers to ensure that UAS children receive the best possible care and support.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to UAS children and will have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislative frameworks.

Estimated salary: £49,522 - £57,712 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Basic salary of between £49,522 and £57,712
  • Market premiums as follows:
  • £4,000 Golden Hello
  • £3,000 Annual Retention Premium (paid in instalments)
  • £2,000 Service-Related Premium (paid in instalments)
  • £1,000 additional payment upon successful Ofsted registration
  • Annual leave allowance of 29 to 30 days
