About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Maintenance Solutions Field Service Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and policies set by customers and Briggs Equipment Ltd.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
  • Attend to breakdowns, fault-find, and complete planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure high-level customer service and address any queries or concerns.
  • Complete job activities electronically and order required parts to complete tasks.
  • Maintain company vehicles to a high standard and ensure correct parts stock.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through high standards of service.
Requirements
  • Relevant technical qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload.
  • Understanding of customer needs.
What We Offer
  • Base salary from £36,209pa based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Overtime payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday.
  • Vehicle available for private use if desired (tax to be paid).
