Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Neath. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students as needed.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their needs are met and they have access to the same opportunities as their peers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of lesson plans, ensuring they are engaging and effective.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
Requirements:
  • A level of understanding about childcare and special educational needs.
  • Some experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero Teaching if needed.
  • Right to Work in the UK and two professional references.
