Position: Individual Support Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a number of dedicated specialists to join our team as 1:1 Teaching Assistants within a specialized educational environment. This role focuses on supporting children with autism as well as those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Role Overview:

We welcome applications from individuals with varying levels of experience in special educational needs (SEN). Whether you have extensive experience or are new to this field but eager to learn, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. Based on your performance, there may be possibilities for contract extension or a transition to a permanent role.

Key Details:

  • Employment Type: Temporary and long-term
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
  • Working Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:20 PM
  • Minimum Salary: £87.90 per day

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A foundational understanding of childcare and special educational needs
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Current safeguarding training, which can be provided by Prospero Teaching
