As a Development Engineering Specialist, you will work with a variety of clients from owner-managed businesses to multinational groups, helping them to identify the scientific and technological aspects of their R&D projects that qualify for R&D tax relief. You will play an active role in writing and reviewing reports of clients' R&D projects and taking part in extensive client communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working as an effective member of a project team, exhibiting strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members of different skill sets.
  2. Writing and reviewing compelling technical project reports to bring out the key technical factors of client projects to support R&D tax claims.
  3. Take a leading role in interaction with clients' senior technical and engineering staff in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the projects undertaken and identify how aspects of projects meet the R&D Guidelines.
  4. Application of advanced problem-solving skills and critical thinking to apply to project execution and delivery.
  5. Building and maintaining relationships with clients to provide high levels of client service.
  6. Responsible for high-quality delivery of advice and solutions to major clients, ensuring management of risk and reputation.
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified - Science, technology, or engineering.
  2. Science, technology, or engineering industry experience (2+ years).
