**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our ground engineering team in Motherwell. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects across the power, rail, nuclear, life science, aviation, defence, and highways sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver studies, specifications, interpretive reporting, and aspects of geotechnical design
  • Work closely with the Civil & Structural engineering teams on every project
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other disciplines
  • Represent the company in design meetings and undertake project management

**Requirements**

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (or Equivalent)
  • Working toward chartered status through an appropriate body (ICE, GeolSoc, IMMM)
  • Experience in a consultancy, within ground engineering
