Opportunity for a Senior Director

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Director of Building Surveying and Specialist Services to join our leadership team in Scotland.

The successful candidate will lead our busy team of building surveyors, CDM advisors, quality control and PFI advisors, providing expert services across the private and public sectors.

This senior role will involve collaborating with team leaders to drive high-quality service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical delivery experience within a construction consultancy, strong IT skills, and excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

The salary for this position is estimated at £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of experts in building surveying and specialist services
  • Develop and expand existing client relationships
  • Manage and support teams engaged on existing commissions
  • Improve team performance through strategic planning and implementation
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop staff within allocated teams
  • Market Currie & Brown locally and nationally, developing new business opportunities
  • Participate in bid-winning activities, including proposal drafting and industry events
  • Implement and monitor administrative systems and customer care standards
