About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead and oversee the manufacturing operations for our Gas Turbine business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality gas turbines while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the manufacturing operations for gas turbine production, including overseeing all aspects of production, quality control, and safety.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, planning, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with other business functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards, and implement best practices for workplace safety.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and employee development within the manufacturing team.
  • Manage and optimize manufacturing resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to meet production demands and maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve manufacturing performance and efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability, and ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in gas turbine manufacturing, and implement relevant improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the gas turbine or power generation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in implementing and managing manufacturing ERP systems and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
