To drive high-performance outcomes, we seek a skilled Part-time Sports Performance Analyst to join our team at Comunidadlift. This fixed-term contract, running from 8th July 2024 to 30th June 2025, is a part-time position, requiring 3 days of work per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Reporting directly to the Head of Athletic Performance – Women's Programme, you will be based at our Training Ground at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and manage performance-based data in a consistent and reliable manner, considering testing methodology and data testing.
  • Operate multiple software systems, including VALD, GPS, and Instrumented Mouth Guards, to support data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the medical department to track key return to performance markers and contribute to data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and present reports to the coaching department, enabling informed decisions for on-field training sessions and match-day preparations.
  • Work closely with the analysis department to analyze and compare data from various sources, identifying key contributors to on-field performance.
Requirements:
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise Science or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in an athletic performance (Strength & Conditioning) position, preferably in a team sport setting.
  • Knowledge of testing, profiling, and screening athletic performance abilities, as well as experience managing large databases.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft software.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A recognized postgraduate degree in Strength & Conditioning, Human Movement, Sports & Exercise Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
