We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist health services to adult service users with learning disabilities, their families, and carers.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct neuropsychological assessments and provide reflective practice, consultation, and supervision to service users.
- Work collaboratively with statutory agencies and care providers to deliver excellent healthcare and evidence-based practice.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff and students, including trainee placements and university teaching.
- Participate in peer support, supervision, CPD, training, research, and audit within the trust and psychological professions network.
- Post-graduate training in clinical or counselling psychology, with HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience working in learning disability services, with strong patient-centred values and a commitment to delivering excellent healthcare.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to a wide range of people.
