Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives and ensuring the safe and efficient removal of asbestos from various sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Setup and Management: Establish and maintain a safe working environment, including documentation and physical arrangements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of operatives, promoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve project goals.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely site records, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, site management, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Supervision: Conduct hands-on supervision of equipment setup, enclosure integrity, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Clearance and Reporting: Prepare for 4-Stage clearance and update the Asbestos Manager on work progress and any arising issues.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and receive plant and materials, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Asbestos Supervisor.
  • At least 2 years of experience in asbestos removal.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Familiarity with current HSE regulations CAR2012 and other Health and Safety rules.
  • Ability to ensure that assigned works are carried out within deadlines, safely and efficiently.
