Job Description

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician at Veolia, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on RCVs and light commercial vehicles. You will diagnose and rectify faults in a well-equipped workshop, ensuring all vehicles are handled carefully and health & safety regulations are adhered to.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all RCV's waste management and light commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify all types of faults within a well-equipped workshop
  • Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with a high level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair. A City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle mechanics, maintenance & repair or equivalent is essential. A Class C Licence is desirable but not essential, as opportunities for training are available.
