Job Summary

This CDM Compliance Officer role presents an exciting opportunity to grow your career in construction health and safety. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, education, healthcare, commercial, regeneration, and local authority projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with 2015 CDM Regulations, managing H&S files, reviewing construction phase plans, maintaining pre-construction information, and conducting design risk reviews. You will also attend design team and client meetings to offer advice on risk, provide a CDM Advisor service to clients, and ensure all RAMS are in place on projects.

The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification, professional membership to IOSH and APS, and knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £32,500 per annum, with additional benefits including pension contributions matched to 4.5%, life assurance cover, and healthcare cash plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Manage H&S files, review construction phase plans, maintain pre-construction information, and conduct design risk reviews.
  • Attend design team and client meetings to offer advice on risk.
  • Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients.
  • Ensure all RAMS are in place on projects.
