Exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join oilandgas as a Senior Sourcing Strategist. This role requires strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the development of comprehensive sourcing strategies that drive business growth and improvement. As a key member of our supply chain operations team, you will be responsible for negotiating with providers, interpreting business challenges, and recommending best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and improve sourcing strategies at business or plant level
  2. Manage regional and business teams to achieve optimal performance
  3. Attract and retain top talent in the industry
  4. Develop expertise within the function and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  5. Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
  6. Present business solutions to leaders in functional areas
  7. Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view
  8. Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers
  9. Influence policy/operating guidelines about important subjects
  10. Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization
  11. Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis
  12. Participate in cross-functional business and cultural development initiatives
  13. Provide leadership and direction in creating and implementing a common material delivery focus and drive systemic changes to our material flow processes to achieve OTD metrics, reduced cycles, inventory, and cost
  14. Drive commitment participation and accuracy for the entire supply base by influencing the use of Supply Line as well as internal AMT process for the business Utilize PFEP attainment, PFEP under minimum, and weekly receipts required by the business to problem-solve by creating right focus at suppliers
  15. Partner with Process, Product Line, Field Support, Change Management, and Readiness Teams to ensure processes are clear, understood, and trained to all team members
  16. Integrate across the business and with integrated product teams (IPTs) to optimize delivery performance
  17. Genba internal processes of team, own improvements by partnering with SPE Horizontal teams to drive efficiency of the team
  18. Utilize in-depth knowledge of sourcing procurement and shop operations to execute delivery outcomes according to Supplier contracts, GE policy, and strategy

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  2. Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain and/or Delivery operations experience
