Vehicle Damage Assessor

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our client's brand new Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Milton Keynes.
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing a wide range of vehicles, using Audatex, and calculating costings and the time required to complete all necessary repairs accurately and professionally.
You will liaise regularly with insurance engineers, write job cards for and liaise regularly with the workshop, and contact customers to provide updates.
This is a high-volume role, with a focus on delivering repairs to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.
About You:To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales.
- The ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure.
- Knowledge of manufacturer's specifications and the ability to work in accordance with them.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility and adaptability in your approach.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work with customer satisfaction in mind.
- Previous experience as a VDA / Estimator in a Bodyshop environment.
