Job Title: Urban Cleanliness Specialist

We require an experienced Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at the City of Edinburgh Council.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across our estate, ensuring compliance with our stringent cleaning standards.

About the Position

Key responsibilities include cleaning all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings within a group of buildings, as well as maintaining cleanliness in sanitary areas and replenishing washroom consumables.

Additional tasks may include emergency cleaning, such as graffiti removal and spillage cleanup, as well as supporting cleaning activities across other buildings when necessary.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this part-time position is £24,346 - £24,646, pro rata. This role offers flexible employment, above-market rates, secure conditions, and opportunities for training and development.
