Salary Range: $24-$26 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Adult Education Teacher to join our educational team. As a Learning Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. You will create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration, assess student progress through various evaluation methods, and provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  2. Classroom Management: Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  3. Evaluation and Feedback: Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavioral issues.
  5. Adaptability: Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other essential documentation.
  7. Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other educators to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
  2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents.
  3. Inclusive Classroom Environment: Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  4. Classroom Management Techniques: Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain discipline while encouraging engagement.
  5. Education Technology: Familiarity with educational technology and tools that enhance learning experiences.
  6. Teaching Experience: Previous teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
