About the Role:
As a Disability and Welfare Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with welfare issues, ensuring they receive effective and timely interventions. You will work closely with the Disability and Welfare Team to promote pastoral care across UCEM programs, providing administrative support for UCEM's SilverCloud provision and being a point of contact for students on the supported pathway.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality information, advice, and guidance on various student issues
• Support the promotion of pastoral care across UCEM programs (ensuring appropriate signposting of students to utilize additional student specialist services where appropriate)
• Assist with the delivery of UCEM's Mental Health Strategy

Requirements:
• GCSE Maths and English Language Grade C or 4 or above
• Experience of working in Safeguarding in FE/HE
• Digital skills: Familiarity with MS Office, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage difficult situations sensitively and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of current legislation relating to Safeguarding and Prevent
