About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lift Service Engineer to join our team at KONE. As a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, we provide lifts, escalators, and automatic doors, as well as solutions for maintenance and modernisation to add value to buildings throughout their life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and maintain a variety of lifts, ensuring they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to lifts, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, contributing to the development of our team and the company.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying new skills and knowledge to improve our services and products.
Requirements
  • NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with lifts and escalators, with a strong understanding of their mechanics and safety features.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Good written and spoken English, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation.
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
