The Opportunity

We are seeking a Contracting Specialist to support the Finance Function of our Toxicology business in achieving contracting, strategic pricing, and governance goals internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract workflow, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and storage for customer contracts and data protection agreements.
  • Lead the implementation of contract review and governance framework, aligning with Division objectives and working closely with commercial, finance, and legal teams.
  • Build and maintain a contract master repository, ensuring timely follow-up on renewal dates and key commitments.
  • Coordinate and contribute to commercial contract reviews for new business and tenders.
  • Make recommendations on contract clauses or escalate for legal review.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of key customer contracts across international markets.
  • Support value-based pricing and gross margin improvement initiatives.
  • Occasional travel to other Abbott markets may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial contracting, pricing, finance, accounting, and/or sales operations is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in large, multinational corporations is an advantage.
  • Paralegal degree or other legal qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and task-driven approach.
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
  • Able to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level.
