DAZN is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our ever-growing advertising division. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing all data relevant to the performance of commercial advertising on DAZN, including impressions, revenue systems, viewership, and audience behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore all data relevant to the performance of commercial advertising on DAZN, including impressions, revenue, viewership, and audience behavior.
- Monitor and own data quality of our internal CRM (Dynamics 365) and inventory management systems.
- Deliver and share reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis, manipulating data across various and changing metrics and dimensions.
- Build dashboards to support the analysis and reporting of data on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Manage data-dependent projects and new processes, from capturing requirements, design, and implementation – in the name of improving data quality.
- Be an expert in all metrics and trends related to advertising and be able to identify insights to explain such trends.
- Explore new initiatives in relation to maximising advertising revenue opportunities through data evaluation, including audience enrichment, new ad concepts, and current delivery refinements.
- Work closely with Advertising Technology Team, supporting the role out of new initiatives and ad formats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in evaluation of big data and familiarity with statistical data analysis and visualization tools such as Looker/PowerBi.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Both efficient time-management, task prioritisation and strong communication skills – ability to communicate and translate information into actions to senior management.
- Excellent skills in data querying using SQL.
- Advanced knowledge of python.
- An understanding of the sales cycle within Advertising.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing and mentoring others.
- Experienced in both broadcast and advertising (particularly sport).
- Experienced in data modelling, particularly focused on revenue models (dbt, Snowflake).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
- Experience in querying APIs from third parties.
- Additional Language skills (Italian, German, French, Spanish, Japanese).
