Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant to support our clinical team in the dispensing and supply of medications. This role will be based in our busy Pharmacy Department at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and procedures, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for the supply of stock medicines to wards and departments, as well as the dispensing of medications to patients. Aseptic dispensing and medication delivery will also be key aspects of this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supply of stock medicines to wards and departments

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths, English Language and Science grade A-C or equivalent
  • Basic keyboard skills
