About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health Economist to join our health economics modelling team at HEOR. This is a key leadership role in the delivery and management of a diverse portfolio of technical projects, identifying challenges and crafting solutions in partnership with our clients.

The successful candidate will be seen as a subject matter expert in economic modelling and will be expected to lead on quantitative projects, strategically advising on conceptualisation of models, implementation and reporting. They will also play a pivotal role in developing and mentoring our HE team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and delivery of mathematical and/or health economic models in Excel, VBA and other software packages
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the conceptualisation and implementation of models
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior health economists and associates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in health economics modelling and analysis
  • Strong statistical and quantitative analysis skills
  • Relevant working experience in healthcare, biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in leading multi-functional teams on complex projects
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
