As a Conflict Resolution Specialist at White & Case, you will play a key role in assisting Partners and fee earners to identify potential conflicts of interest during new business intake. You will work at the heart of the Firm's operations and as a trusted advisor to our lawyers.

Working alongside the Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of conflicts and new business workflow. You will be an integral part of the team and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and activating matters for new and existing clients
  • Running AML checks on new clients and reviewing/approving clients and matter name changes
  • Consistently interacting with the General Counsel's New Business Acceptance Committee, and Senior Partners as part of the opening process

You will also work to aid with projects/activities such as system upgrades and testing, participating in interviews and providing feedback to management, conducting functional/technical skills training and mentoring of Analysts, and monitoring workloads and allocating accordingly.

Qualifications and skills required include a minimum three years' experience in a Conflict's role at a reasonably sized law firm, a university or college degree, Intapp conflicts system knowledge, AML experience, intellectual curiosity and creativity for problem-solving, proficiency in identifying and mitigating reputational risks, and exceptional communication and time management skills.
