Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at South West Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running and administration of the Assembly department, ensuring the delivery of daily and future production plans in collaboration with the production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Assembly department to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  • Manage and coordinate the production process, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of production planning and control principles.
