Commercial Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Paralegal to join our team at Cathay Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as assisting with the distribution, recording, filing, and archiving of fully executed contracts and amendments.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, including NDAs, terms and conditions of supply and/or purchase, hire agreements, and contracts.
  • Assisting with the preparation of information for briefs for external legal advisors.
  • Carrying out document searches for cases, including disclosures.
  • Supporting the business in operational projects.
  • Reviewing and communicating key terms for contracts and other legal documents to managers in the business.
