Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a challenging role in Employee Relations?

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our Municipal Employee Relations Team, covering sites predominantly across London and the South area of England.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Veolia's business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for line managers on employee relations matters, providing specialist advice and solutions in line with current legislation.
  • Covering disciplinary, grievances, investigations, restructures, and capability cases.
  • Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to support the business goals of Veolia.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior stakeholders on people-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Level 7 CIPD or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist or ER role within a unionised and regulated environment.
  • Proven ER experience including advising on complex disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of management.
  • Experience of mediating disputes and bringing matters to a positive conclusion.
