Role Overview

The Royal Air Force (RAF) is seeking highly skilled pharmacists to join its Reserve Medical Services. As a Reserve Medic, you will play a vital role in providing medical support to RAF personnel, both in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on medicines management and support clinical teams in the field.
  • Deploy on operations and exercises to provide medical support to front-line personnel.
  • Work closely with RAF medical teams to ensure the provision of high-quality medical care.
Requirements
  • Be a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/2 Grade 4/5, including English Language and Maths.
  • Hold an accredited degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BPharm BSc).
  • Have evidence of having completed 2 years of post-graduate rotational training in a secondary healthcare environment.
Training and Development

As a Reserve Medic, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. This will include initial training at RAF Halton, followed by specialist training at the Defence Medical Academy.
