About the Opportunity

Austin Fraser is a well-established charity that provides a range of social housing, health and wellbeing, family and children's services, youth and community activities within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. We are now seeking a Trust and Foundations Development Officer to join our team and help us achieve our fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with trusts and foundations to secure vital funding.
  2. Research and identify new funding opportunities to support our charitable causes.
  3. Submit high-quality bids to trusts and foundations, showcasing our work and impact.
  4. Co-ordinate grant monitoring, ensuring we meet our reporting requirements and build strong relationships with funders.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop financial and descriptive collateral for use in bids.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. Demonstrable experience in a similar fundraising role, particularly writing applications to trusts and foundations.
  2. An understanding of fundraising regulations and charity sector operating policies.
  3. A driving license.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,442 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including a contributors pension scheme, health cash plan, rewards scheme, electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, and paid holiday starting at 23 days plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 5 years of service.
