Job Title: Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team at Sandwich Sandwich Ltd. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the store manager in the day-to-day operations, working alongside regular team members on shift, and taking on increased responsibility for ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily food safety checks and maintain records accordingly.
  • Work alongside the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and food products.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Supervise and motivate a diverse team.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Assist in staff training and development initiatives.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
  • Uphold brand standards and contribute to a welcoming store environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year experience as a duty manager or shift supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in conducting daily food safety checks and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
