Automotive Sales Professional

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Sales Manager to join their team in a fully remote role. This position requires the ability to manage customer accounts, generate business, and achieve sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and establish customer accounts within the region/customer base.
- Generate customer business in line with discount and rebate structures.
- Accountable for the achievement of sales targets set for the region.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports via Sales Force.
- Follow up leads, answer sales calls, and respond to enquiries through to order placement.
- Effectively handle customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions with the Product Management team and factories as appropriate.
- Follow up all sales leads and customer quotations.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
- Accurately maintain records on area and customer sales for the region/customer base.
- Carry out all other associated tasks to ensure the effective and efficient running of the sales team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-confidence and self-motivator.
- Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative, managing oneself and workload.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
- The ability to travel and spend nights away from home as required.
- Proven sales track record in the electrical sector.
- Desirable: At least 5 years' experience in industrial sales or ability to demonstrate a semi-technical work background.
- Desirable: At least 5 years business-to-business direct sales experience in the electrical/tools/PPE sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Estimated salary £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
