About the Role:

This is a permanent term time position at West Minster Primary School, Sheerness. As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will operate the school crossing patrol point in a safe manner, identifying hazards and risks to children, adult carers, and drivers. You will maintain an awareness of traffic movement and speed to stop vehicles safely when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety: To ensure the safety of children and other road users by operating the school crossing patrol point effectively.
  2. Customers: To build positive relationships with children and their adult carers to control the movement of groups at the crossing point.
