Veterinary Nurse Position in Progressive Small Animal Hospital

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at a progressive first opinion, small animal, RCVS-accredited hospital with a significant and growing referral caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient nursing including critical care patient nursing, scrub nurse duties, patient triage, blood sampling and catheter placement.
- Anesthetics of mainly small animals and occasionally exotics.
- Maintaining health and safety standards and hygiene protocols.
About the Practice
The practice is situated in a cosmopolitan city with much to offer both socially and for outdoor enthusiasts. The team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, Animal Nursing Assistants and 12 support staff work together to provide the highest standard of care.
Working Arrangements
Ideally working up to 40 hours per week across an 8 week rolling rota, with 1:4 weekends & a share of the OOH rota with plenty of time back after/before weekend and out of hours work. The client can consider part time hours and flexible working as they understand the importance of balancing home life with your work life.
